Create Your Own Podcast at Home, School, and Just About Anywhere!

Studio City Library teen volunteer Daniella Lake and children's librarian Lauren Kratz will demonstrate how to create your own podcast using simple to use applications and technology equipment. There will be both demonstration and hands-on learning.

Lauren Kratz had been a children's librarian for over 10 years. She is currently the children's librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library, Studio City Branch. Lauren has taught both children and teens how to create and record their own podcasts. She currently records a podcast with her monthly children's book club called The Studio City Library Podcast People.

Daniella Lake

Daniella Lake

Daniella Lake is a student at Notre Dame High School, a volunteer at the Studio City Library, and a member of the Studio City Library's Teen Council. After learning how to podcast at the library, Daniella has created and produced her own podcast called Life Told By A Stranger, which is currently in it's second season and available on iTunes. During each episode, Daniella asks the same four thought provoking questions to people from all walks of life.
