JPL Open Source Rover

The JPL Open Source Rover is an open source, scaled-down version of the 6 wheel rover design used to explore Mars. It is a project designed to inspire the next generation to learn mechanical engineering, coding, electronics and robotics. (Ages 12 and up).

The JPL Open Source Rover team consists primarily of Michael Cox, a data scientist at JPL, and Eric Junkins, who was one of the original summer interns who designed the rover.
