Tickets

The LA Maker Faire + City of STEM Festival is a FREE, non-ticketed event. All are welcome. 

Prize Drawing

While a ticket is not needed to attend the LA Maker Faire + City of STEM, if you would like to be entered into a drawing for a special prize, we encourage you to register on Eventbrite.

A winner will be announced during the opening program at the Main Stage between 10 – 11a.m. the morning of the event. Attendees must be present at the time of the announcement in order to win. Your Eventbrite registration also helps us get an estimated attendee count and will allow us to email any pertinent event information in advance.  
 

Location

The LA Maker Faire + City of STEM takes place at Los Angeles State Historic Park: 1245 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
The event is outdoors and will happen rain or shine. Shade is limited at the park, so please remember sunscreen, hat, and water if it’s a sunny day. Please remember an umbrella or rain gear if it’s a rainy day. Most programs and exhibitors will be on the grass lawn.  
 

Getting There

Public Transportation

Go Metro! Public transportation is a great option for traveling to the event.

By Train: Take the A Line to Chinatown Station. The south entrance to the park is a 2 minute walk from the station.

By Bus:  Take the 76 Bus Line to Chinatown Station. The south entrance to the park is a 2 minute walk from the station.

Union Station:  Event location is approximately 1 mile from Union Station.

 

Parking

Parking is extremely limited; we advise using public transportation or ride-sharing.

There is limited street parking near the Los Angeles State Historic Park; please obey all posted parking restrictions and be respectful of local residents and businesses.

Free parking will be available from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. at Dodger Stadium, Lot 13.
Lot 13 is the open lot adjacent to Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center, located at 1700 Stadium Way, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
 
Free shuttle service is available to transport you from Lot 13 to the event. Shuttles will run about every 10 minutes between both locations.
 
**Important Note: All vehicles MUST exit Dodger Stadium Lot by 7 p.m.. The Lot will be locked promptly at 7 p.m.

LA Maker Faire + City of STEM will be using Whova to help you navigate all the fun at this year’s event. Please register on Eventbrite before downloading the app. On Whova you can connect with other Makers and attendees, check out the schedule, and view our amazing lineup of makers and Exhibitors, Maps and food vendors will be available closer to the event date. Download the app or sign in using the web portal.

Invitation code to access the LA Maker Faire + City of STEM app features will be released two days before the event.

 

Food & Water

Food trucks selling a variety of cuisine will be at the event. There is a snack stand at the south end of the park, as well as many restaurants in the vicinity, including nearby Chinatown. However, you are also welcome to pack your own snacks and enjoy a picnic on the lawn!

Attendees are encouraged to bring water and refillable water bottles. Drinking water will be available while supplies last at designated stations.
